Dolly Noire is an Italian brand, registered in 2004 by four guys on the outskirts of Milan.

Then officially founded in 2013, Dolly Noire was born on a bench on a summer evening, mixing fun with friends with a passion for streetwear and a good dose of resourcefulness.

This is the story of four friends and their shared dream.

It all started in 2004, we were 15 years old. We went out together in a company of almost forty people, and during a summer evening spent like many others at the park near our house, we thought of a T-shirt that is a symbol of our company. Our meeting place was a place called “the benches”, so our first T-shirt depicted the simple stylization of a bench.

It was a simple object, which, however, immediately made us aware that we could imagine, design and create the clothing that we felt most ours and that could talk about us. At that age, clothing became a means of communicating one’s identity, the bearer of a state of mind, of a moment, of certain values ​​and often a symbol of belonging to a group.

The initial phase of our journey was characterized by the design and production of the first T-shirts and the first contacts with suppliers.

We took orders from friends and acquaintances who in turn helped us to roll more and more products.

In 2008 we opened our first VAT number as a sole proprietorship, and in the meantime each of us continued with their own studies between exams and evening jobs. The training was complementary in the fields: design, economics, marketing. Each of us directly put into practice every concept and tool learned during the classroom courses.

In March 2010 our products began to be sold at the first Amedeo D. store in Milan and although our brand was unknown at the time, we immediately received excellent feedback.

At the same time we started an intense promotional activity through event sponsorships, exploiting the power of social media and the web to tell those who follow us our story and the stories of all those kids who, like us, pursue their own with stubbornness and perseverance. dreams, never giving up.

Black sheep

During our journey, we became particularly passionate about a product / symbol of a certain lifestyle: the snapback, the flat brim cap that takes its name from the clip on the back, which allows you to adjust the size as you wish. Over time the snapback has become our most loved product.

Today, Dolly Noire is a S.r.l. officially founded on July 16, 2013, for which we work day and night with all the passion we have, carrying on and realizing, day by day, that dream born on a bench at the age of fifteen.

It was 1996 when the cloning of the first living being was announced in the world: Dolly the sheep, symbol of a perfect, homogeneous, repetitive world. A uniform and unchanging white flock.

But from this homogeneous expanse of which we all belong, Dolly Noire wants to bring out her black soul, affirm the value of diversity, of the unconventional voice. Being black sheep no longer means being the worst, but having the courage to create, make and be the difference.

Diversity is where creativity and imagination are not limited to conventional schemes, but seek definition and form for the identity of each one. Dolly Noire encourages you to be yourself, invest in your talents and pursue your dreams.
